( The like of whom were never created in the realm; )

( And with Thamud who carved rocks in the valley; )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  10
( And the mighty Pharaoh )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  11
( Who terrorised the region, )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  12
( And multiplied corruption. )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  13
( So your Lord poured a scourge of punishment over them. )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  14
( Your Lord is certainly in wait. )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  15
( As for man, whenever his Lord tries him and then is gracious and provides good things for him, he says: "My Lord has been gracious to me." )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  16
( But when He tries him by restraining his means, he says: "My Lord despises me." )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  17
( No. In fact you are not generous to the orphans, )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  18
( Nor do you urge one another to feed the poor, )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  19
( And you devour (others') inheritance greedily, )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  20
( And love wealth with all your heart. )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  21
( Surely when We pound the earth to powder grounded, pounded to dust, )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  22
( And comes your Lord, and angels row on row, )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  23
( And Hell is brought near, that day will man remember, but of what avail will then remembering be? )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  24
( He will say: "Alas the woe! Would that I had sent ahead something in my life." )

* Al-Fajr الفجر  25
( None can punish as He will punish on that day, )
